<noautolink> ---+!! Property Graphs %TOC% A *property graph* is a graph-based data structure where either nodes or edges can have properties (i.e., key/value pairs). Property graphs are commonly used by [[%graph_db%][graph databases]] (e.g., [[%neo4j%][Neo4j]]), and related tools (e.g., [[%gremlin%][Gremlin]]). Although I haven't seen any discussion of the idea, Elixir seems like an interesting tool for modeling property graphs. Each node and edge could be represented by a lightweight process and message-based algorithms could be used to process information. This web discusses various aspects of this idea. * [[Algorithms ]] - actor-based graph algorithms * [[Cyphex ]] - mashing up Cypher and Elixir * [[Folk_Dance][Folk Dances]] - modeling and visualization * [[Ecto ]] - Elixir DSL for database access * [[Ecto_Cypher ][Ecto: Cypher]] - Ecto handler for Cypher, etc. * [[Ecto_Gremlin ][Ecto: Gremlin]] - Ecto handler for Gremlin, etc. * [[Projects/Elixir/EN/][Ecto for Neo4j]] * [[Graph_Mapping][Graph_Mapping]] - mapping property graphs to actors * [[Resources]] - books, web pages, etc. <!-- * Set WMC = http://www.meetup.com * Set WP = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki * Set graph_db = %WP%/Graph_database * Set gremlin = %WP%/Gremlin_(programming_language) * Set neo4j = %WP%/Graph_database --> %ZB%
